My name is Carla Pappas and I am the chaplain here at Smithfield High. My position here at school is by sponsorship and donations. If anyone would like to support Chaplaincy, please contact me. All donations are tax deductible. I have worked in this position for seven years now and I very much enjoy my role in the school. My primary function is pastoral care of the students but staff, parents and caregivers can also access my service. Care is given to all regardless of background or belief. I am also involved in the Religious Education program, ‘Shine’, ‘Strength’ and Christian Student Group.
I work as part of the fantastic support staff we have at Smithfield State High School, which include our Guidance Officer, Nurse, School Based Police Officer and Community Education Counsellor.
