Nai Tuuut joined the school, as Chaplain in 2018. Her main responsibilities are:
engaging with and contributing to the delivery of Human rights education/wellbeing programs at Smithfield State High School.
pastoral conversations with students- staff or student initiated or after critical incidents
home visits for students - hospital visitation, bereavement, school refusal
General promotion of positive school culture
to support students with a faith background through pastoral conversations (with parental consent)
Facilitating RE program
working in partnership with the school based support staff (EASTeam)and community based youth organisations and networks
attendance and support at camps, excursions, leadership days, activities etc.
